On Sunday,  June 23  Indigenous Peoples Sunday, All Saints celebrated Canada's native peoples. Smudging was offered in the Chapel at 9am, an Indigenous cleansing ritual.  Keith Cameron, Aboriginal Liaison Officer for the BC Government and Services Employees Union and elder Sam Green's nephew was to be our guest speaker but due to unfortuate circumstances was unable to attend. Rev. Paul and Elder Rene Inkster spoke in his absence. There was a display of artifacts, drumming and bannock.  A special offering towards All Saints 2020 Ecole Mission Secondary School Truth and Reconciliation Scholarships. We give thanks to our Truth and Reconciliation Committee for all their efforts in making this a memorable celebration.
